COMMON CORE STANDARDS SUMMER INSTITUTE

Spend four days with AIHE's nationally renowned and published professional development staff. Our Common Core Learning Institute will unlock the Common Core Standards for Reading, Writing and Informational text. Each day will consist of participant-centered activities aligned to substantive historical content. Participants will spend a day in Historic Philadelphia walking in the footsteps of the founders to experience the power of site based learning as a tool for bringing "learning beyond the textbook" to their students. The institute will also have a strong focus on participants developing a plan to become district-wide leaders with an individualized roadmap for implementing the standards.

This 4-day summer workshop will be held Monday - Thursday, July 22-25, 2013 on the campus of Delsea Regional High School in nearby Franklinville, NJ. Accommodations will be provided a short drive from the school.
